With all of the news buzz about the coronavirus, the precautions you should take, what products you should use to disinfect your belongings, etc., one thing keeps being left out, contact time! Just as important as handwashing, contact time must be achieved to disinfect properly. Just as in, if it isn't clean, you can't sterilize it. Maybe more importantly, if it isn't clean, you can't disinfect it either. So clean your surface first, disinfect with the proper agents, and meet the contact time to kill the organisms.
