Warren Nist brings more than 43 years of experience in Sterile Processing operations, leadership, education, regulatory readiness, department design, and process improvement.

Throughout his career, Warren has worked in nearly every facet of Sterile Processing. His experience includes leading departments, developing staff, supporting new department openings, managing renovations and redesigns, implementing instrument-tracking systems, improving workflow, reviewing policies and documentation, and preparing healthcare organizations for regulatory and accreditation surveys.

Warren’s experience is not limited to observing departments from the sidelines. He continues to serve in hands-on consulting and interim leadership roles, working directly with Sterile Processing professionals and healthcare leaders to address the challenges departments face today.

That current field experience gives ESP a practical understanding of staffing shortages, productivity demands, documentation gaps, instrument-quality concerns, survey readiness, leadership transitions, and the daily pressures affecting Sterile Processing and Surgical Services.
